Seraphina's paternal Y-DNA haplogroup N1 (N-M128) belongs to Finno-Ugric/Baltic lineage.
Y-DNA haplogroup N1 is a paternal lineage with an origin in South Asia. Its primary modern distribution is in northern Eurasia, from Siberia to Northern Europe.
Sub-clades like N1c1 are prevalent in populations around the Baltic Sea and in northern Russia, and are associated with Uralic-speaking peoples.
The haplogroup N1a is another sub-clade, most common in northern Europe and among indigenous peoples of Siberia.
Distribution and migration
Origin: The broader Y-DNA haplogroup N is believed to have originated in South Asia around 38,000 years ago, with the N1 lineage emerging about 18,000 years later.
Northern Eurasia: The descendants of N1a and N1c are most common in northern Europe and among Siberian indigenous peoples.
Other regions: N1 is also found at lower frequencies in parts of China, Korea, and Japan, reflecting its ancient migration across Eurasia.

Although the full Y-DNA sequence of Seraphina's father is not known, the information present in her full twin brother's genome is enough to establish that his Y-DNA belongs to the sub-clade N1a (N-M231). This became possible by cross examining Seraphina's and her full twin brother's deep dive matches (ancient relatives at MTA), as well as comparing certain Reference SNP-clusteres (rs) found in Y chromosome partially present in his genome carried by Seraphina with Seraphina's husband's whose Y-DNA haplogroup is N1c1.
