Seraphina and The Institute Ott

Seraphina's connection to the medical institution that supposedly handled her birth - The Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology named after D.O. Ott (branch of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences), located on Vasilievsky Island in the centre of Saint-Petersburg, Russia, - was always somewhat ambiguous.
As a child, not aware of the fact that she was growing up in the foster family, she was often reminded of this respectable institution, even though she herself never raised any questions about it. In particular, her foster grandmother, Elena Mikhailovna, used to highlight the fact that her mother, Anna Gavrilovna, some time before the1917 Revolution attended a midwives course at The Institute Ott and received a certificate recording this event. The certificate was duly produced and showcased to Seraphina. Although Seraphina was fascinated by the ancient and fragile certificate, she never felt any particular affiliation with the place which in itself was somewhat unusual, as according to stories she had been fed she was actually born there.
At the same time, the very woman, Tatyana Petrovna Zhurilo (Татьяна Петровна Журило) who was believed to have given birth to Seraphina and supposedly her foster twin brother rarely, if at all, mentioned the place. What was even more mysterious Tatyana Petrovna did not seem to have any special recollections of the one of the most important events in her life that happened there - the actual birth giving. To all Seraphina's questions about the day she simply answered that she did not remember anything.
Decades later, in the course of Seraphina's investigation in connection to her background and circumstances of her birth, she found out that The Institute Ott was in fact an entry point into her new life in Russia, and not the actual medical facility where she was born.
The function of The Institute was to provide Seraphina with a temporary medical care after her transfer from France to the USSR and to create a 'cover up' story for the subsequent receipt of her official documents. The 'cover up' story included retroactively registering Seraphina's birth in Leningrad, creating plausible medical documentation of her birth occurring locally. This included some mentions of Seraphina's foster mother, Tatyana Petrovna Zhurilo (Татьяна Петровна Журило), in the selected medical documents as well as production of the fabricated medical certificate for the Registry Office of Petrogradsky district of Saint Petersburg where Tatyana Petrovna resided with her husband, Nikolai Nikolaevich Bogomolova (1941-2011).
Although the exact details of the intake documentation created by The Institute for Seraphina are not fully known due to the ongoing 'battle' for justice with The Institute and, in particular, its current Director, Kogan I.Y. (Коган Игорь Юрьевич), Seraphina was able to reconstruct the core points of the process that occurred in The Institute at the time of her being placed there.
The 'cover up' story created by The Institute included intake forms with fabricated circumstances of arrival, medical examination records, daily care logs and observations, and a fabricated medical certificate for the application for the birth certificate in the local Registry Office.
As a result of the 'cover up' story created by The Institute Seraphina was issued a birth certificate where her 'cover up' identity was recorded - Seraphima (Seraphina) Nickolaevna Bogomolova (Серафима Николаевна Богомолова) which then later was automatically transferred to her other official documents such as her passport, and school and high education diplomas.
